My retreat work has developed through both psychotherapy retreats and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy retreats.
Retreats create the possibility of stepping outside the usual rhythms and demands of everyday life and entering a more sustained period of therapeutic work. Small groups, individual and group process, embodied practice, nature, rest and shared experience can come together within a carefully held environment.
Psychotherapy Retreats
The psychotherapy retreats I facilitate bring together individual and group process with embodied and reflective practices.
The particular shape of each retreat develops around its purpose and community. Previous work has drawn upon psychotherapy, movement, yoga, voice, sound and shared practices, with time for rest, connection and being in nature.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Retreats
KAP retreats bring together medical, psychological and, where relevant, spiritual perspectives within a whole-person, integrative approach.
Participants are supported before, during and after the retreat, with careful attention to preparation, safety and integration. Individual therapeutic work sits within the healing potential of a small supportive group and an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Programmes may bring together:
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, psychotherapy and relational group process, meditation, yoga, embodied practice and sound.
The particular programme and clinical team vary according to the retreat.
