“Presence is the place where the past is being alchemized into now.”
The work is grounded in a deep respect for the complexity of a human life, and a trust in what may still become possible when the conditions for healing, connection and development are present.
My approach to psychotherapy has developed over more than two decades of clinical practice and ongoing study. It draws from relational and developmental psychotherapy, trauma and attachment work, embodied and somatic approaches, Dance Movement Therapy, IFS and contemplative and transpersonal perspectives.
The work may include conversation, attention to the body and nervous system, movement and embodied experience, reflection on relationships and developmental history, and exploration of the wider contexts of life—health, lifestyle, community, meaning and purpose.
What becomes important is different for each person and develops through the work itself.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy forms another part of my clinical work. I work within a multidisciplinary medical and psychiatric team, with careful attention to assessment, preparation, medicine sessions and integration.
